Privacy Policy

1. What we collect

Account details: your first and last name, email address, and an encrypted password, or the basic profile your Google or Apple sign-in shares.

Your circle: the people you connect with, the nicknames, badges and photos you set for them (visible only to you), and your mute settings.

Nudges: the short prompts you send and receive, with their time, so we can deliver them, show your Echoes and apply cooldowns.

Preferences: theme, sound, and quiet-presence settings.

2. Location

AmHere never tracks your location in the background. Location is requested only when you tap a prompt like “Locate me”. If you allow it, a one-time map link is sent to the person you chose. You can deny or revoke this permission at any time in your device settings.

3. What we never do

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal data. We do not show ads, build advertising profiles, or use algorithmic feeds. There are no public profiles or public posts.

4. How we use your information

To run your account, deliver nudges and notifications, keep the service secure, prevent spam, process subscriptions, and answer support requests.

5. Payments

Full Access subscriptions on the web are processed by our payment partner Stripe. On iOS and Android, purchases are processed by Apple or Google. We never see or store your full card number; we only receive your subscription status.

6. Service providers

We use trusted providers for hosting, database, authentication and payments. They process data only on our behalf and under confidentiality obligations.

7. Retention and deletion

Your data is kept while your account is active. You can delete your account from Profile at any time; your profile, connections and nudges are then removed, except where the law requires us to keep records (for example, billing records).

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live (including California under the CCPA/CPRA), you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context advertising.

9. Children

AmHere is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data. Users aged 13–17 should use AmHere with a parent's or guardian's permission.

10. Security

Data is encrypted in transit, and access is restricted by account-level security rules. No system is perfectly secure, but we work hard to protect your circle.

11. Changes and contact
